ROCK MY WHEELS! A benefit for Eric Johnson, 28 year old Bolingbrook – Romeoville resident.
It has been almost ten years since Eric’s devastating accident. Eric is paralyzed from the waist down and in need of a new wheel chair and a safe and a larger vehicle to get to his job at the Orland Fire District where he dispatches 911 calls. He is also in need of more surgeries.
The average life expectancy of a standard wheelchair is approximately 7 years. Eric, approaching 10 years, is still in the same wheelchair. Medicare only provides limited help throughout a life span, and we know that God still has more than 28 years for Eric’s lifetime.
It is in giving that we receive, so please open your hearts in helping the family and friends of Eric to raise the money needed to get him his new wheel chair, anything above that will be a just miracle….
